A tiny honeybee, soaked in dew, clings to wild weed flower seemingly waiting for the sun to rise and the day to start. The sun never came through on a grey and densely clouded day. The bee did fly away a few minutes later. Shot in the field on a dreary and rainy northeastern autumn morning. Wild bushes in the distance make for the soft natural background. Image is a stack of 16 shots each at f/16, 1/4s, iso 200. Shot with a Nikon D500, Tokina 100mm macro, SB-700 flash with diffuser at 1/64 power. Processed in Lightroom, Helicon focus and Photoshop.
