Horseshoe Bend

Part of a collection I'm titling, "The Usual Suspects" for Fstoppers.

We were fortunate to be able to stop over in Page, Arizona, to see Horseshoe Bend and the Upper Antelope Canyon. We didn't have the dramatic sky or setting sun this day, as others have posted here on Fstoppers, but as a "passing through" photographer I take what I get and opt for leaving it mostly alone.
This is a three shot HDR merge combined and edited with Capture One.

Nice shot! I have been there a couple times many years ago. I hear now it is super crowded and parking is a challenge. Is this correct?

Hi Juergen,
Thanks!
We were there on a Tuesday, Nov. 5 probably around 10:30 AM, local time. There was plenty of parking still. There was a steady stream of people walking down and back the entire time we were there. I didn't have to wait long to position myself in the corner on the safe side of the railing to obtain the images from which this image was constructed. People were nice and patient. I did have to wait to get several other shots I wanted of the surrounding rocks as a stream of them wanted to climb up and have pictures taken...this is where I was patient, and also had a couple of gals duck down as they seemed to be camping in a spot for an extended viewing.
I imagine weekends and holidays and summer to be as you have heard - crowded.
Cheers!
