The Barcelona Franca train station (Barcelona Estació de França) was built in 1929 and is considered Barcelona's most beautiful train station, decorated with marble, bronze and crystal. Barcelona Franca station is located in the east of the city and is just a few minutes' walk from the old town and the Barceloneta harbor district.
