Last Flight Home

A brilliant sunset in late October as a pelican, the straggler of a large flock, heads home. The iconic California lifeguard station sits empty at the edge of the Pacific Ocean. The quietness is palpable at this hour. One can only breathe it all in and be filled with gratitude for Mother Earth's gifts.

Nice atmospheric shot. Unfortunately, the metal bars of the rescue station structure are surrounded by an unsightly halo that could be easily fixed in post-production.

Thank you!
