In northwest London lies the BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir, a magnificent Hindu temple also known as Neasden Temple, as it is located in the area of London that bears that name.
This temple was named the largest Hindu temple in the world outside of India in 2000 and is also the first authentic, traditional Hindu temple in Europe, having been built using only traditional materials and methods thanks to thousands of volunteers who collaborated in its construction.
