The Wild Heart of Rha

We’re back to the northern lands of Scotland with this unique waterfall, offering a different perspective compared to the vast and awe-inspiring landscapes that Isle of Skye typically presents.
This small corner, Rha Waterfalls, is just a short distance from iconic spots like Old Man of Storr or The Quiraing, yet it has a more intimate and cozy feel.

Upon arrival, I quickly noticed these plants known as Bear's Garlic (Allium ursinum), and I thought they would make for a fantastic foreground. Positioned like this in the composition, they naturally lead the eye toward the main waterfall.
Dealing with the breeze was a challenge, as capturing the flowers without motion to ensure a successful focus stack required patience. But in the end, I managed to get the shot.

It was a great moment—a peaceful and quiet spot to take a break before heading to more popular locations. But those will have to wait for another day—stay tuned!
