How Good Is the Unique Canon RF 28-70mm f/2L USM Lens?

Canon has really found a new gear with the RF mount when it comes to lenses, releasing some mightily impressive options that push the boundaries of optical design and offer photographers unique creative opportunities. One of those lenses is the RF 28-70mm f/2L USM, and this excellent video review takes a look at the sort of performance and image quality you can expect from it.

Coming to you from DP Review TV, this awesome video review takes a look at the Canon RF 28-70mm f/2L USM lens. This lens is a behemoth without a doubt, but that should not be surprising given its extreme design. And while that large footprint in tandem with its price might put you off at first, it is worth considering how much you are getting with it. I have had the lens for about a year now, and it has entirely replaced several primes for me. In fact, I do not own any other lenses between 14mm and 85mm anymore. It offers tremendous versatility, image quality, and, dare I say, value (given what it replaces), and it is a ton of fun to shoot with. Check out the video above for the full rundown on the lens.

Worth the wait!

It’s my go to lens. Really shines on the R5. Incredible piece of glass. Photos are sharp and 4&8 K videos using this lens are AWESOME!!!
