Coming to you from Engadget, this great video review takes a look at the new MacBook Air. I am personally quite excited for the new MacBook Air. My first Apple computer was a 2010 MacBook Air, and I always loved its extreme portability, especially as someone walking to campus every day. I switched to a MacBook Pro for the last seven years, but with the advent of Apple silicon and its ability to tackle photo editing easily, it was a no-brainer to preorder the new Air now that I am ready to upgrade my 2015 MacBook Pro. I'm excited that I will have the most portable model again and am eagerly awaiting the arrival of mine. The lack of a touch screen is still a sticking point for me.
Just curious, why would need/want to touch the screen? Seems to me it's just going to get all smudgy (that would drive me nuts) and not really an efficient way of editing.
I guess it's what you get used to. I've been using one for years and gotten used to it, especially since I don't really like trackpads. I don't see using a touchpad laptop is any different from using my iPad.
