New Tutorial Shows You How To Make Money From Your Photography

This week, I was able to watch Karl Taylor's "Making Money From Your Photography" tutorial. As a young photographer, I learned a ton from this three-hour tutorial and believe that any photographer, regardless of age or experience, could learn something new. Karl Taylor is a well-known photographer and instructor from London, England. He is also an ambassador and instructor for Hasselblad, Broncolor and Adobe, and has run a successful commercial studio for over 20 years. "Making Money From Your Photography" covers loads of information when it comes to running a commercial photography business. The tutorial is great for people who are wanting to turn a hobby into work, as it covers the basics of what genres of photography actually make money, to the nitty-gritty of things like business insurance, usage fees, and what I found most helpful, pricing. How to price your photography is probably the number one question many photographers starting out in the commercial world have. What's pretty cool about this tutorial is that Taylor shares the pricing and usage fees he charges when taking on new clients.

While some photographers might be business savvy, if you're like me, business classes were never really your forte. After watching this tutorial, I feel like I have a much better understanding of how to turn my business around so I can start making more money and take on bigger clients. I've shot in the commercial world for a few years now, but even some of the seemingly obvious points that Taylor talks about really do need to be reiterated for those of us who are still relatively new to the business side of things. Whether you have a few years under your belt, or are a seasoned professional, this tutorial has something everyone can benefit from.

"Making Money From Your Photography" also comes with extra documents that cover things like model releases, copyrighting images, cash flow and budgeting, and much more. Just these documents alone are worth the cost of the tutorial, especially for photographers who are just starting out. Taylor speaks about client-photographer relationships and how to keep clients interested in hiring you for more projects. Even if you are a wedding photographer, Taylor shows you how you can turn it into a commercial-style business and gives you tips on how to reach your target audience.

For the next two weeks, you can purchase the tutorial under the "Early Bird Specials." By purchasing this tutorial early, you will be automatically upgraded to their Pro Level Support Service and also receive an effective invoice example. Creating the layout and content of an invoice for a client might sound straightforward, but with Taylor's method, you can help avoid complication and confusion. His invoice layout will help you get paid more easily and ensure that your customers are aware of all the expenses and hours spent on a project.

As many know, time is money, and this tutorial is only three hours long, giving even the busiest photographer time to watch and apply the lessons learned. Packed full of useful information that comes from years and years of experience, it can really help you get your business headed in the right direction. If you're serious about creating a successful photography business, then I highly suggest checking out "Making Money From Your Photography."

Karl Taylor was a real help when i started photographing. Back in 2010 when he first released his dvd's. He's great and a great teacher. I'm looking foward on this one. :)

Wondering, if this would be useful purchase for non-US people?

I would think so, Karl Taylor is from the UK so his business sense is already catered a bit more towards the European market already.
