I don't even know where to begin with Erik Almas. His imagery simply stops you in your tracks and makes you wonder how something can be so perfectly imaginative. For photographers, or me at least, he makes we want to cry in the fetal position. Not because his stuff is so awesome that I get verklempt, but because it will take decades to come even close to where he was ten years ago. And I'm not talking about being able to copy his style, just being on his level in my own regards using my own style. This behind the scenes video shows a small glimpse into his world and how he pieces a concept together. Check it out.

wow this is some amazing stuff, thanks for sharing. It's always great to see where you can take photography and Erik Almas has taken it to some pretty exciting places.
Great work, I've always loved his stuff.
My only question would be, does anyone else think these seem really over budget where miniatures and more cgi could get the same look with out flying all over and large equipment?
mad skills!
Great stuff, but I agree that it seems a tad over budget. The final results are mind-blowing though.
Brilliant stuff, really good to see such an inventive pro at work. Thank you for sharing Erik
Cheers

would love to have his budget....
He does all the editing. I'm not sure about the 3D work though
If you had his skills you would have his budget
He's such an inspiration
walking through Heathrow the other day, I saw some ads that were undoubtedly Eric Almas. The soft tone pallet that he uses is gorgeous. Great Work!
I couldn't get through it for the horrible music.
Okay, so he has a HUGE travel budget and lots of time to Photoshop.
Nice but tons of people do it on various websites
