As soon as you think you’ve seen it all, something comes along that proves you wrong. In this case, it’s pet photos (bear with me here…). The idea came to German photographer Julia Christie while she was working on a commissioned project for an animal pharmaceutical product. She ended up scouting for dog models at “different dog shows, in dog schools, and vet practices,” and then asked the owners to bring their pets to a studio in Berlin, Germany. She was overwhelmed when almost a hundred dogs showed up, and this was the beginning of her latest project, “Freestyle.”
The idea was to capture the dogs expressions in mid-flight as they were dropping freely through the sky. “The dogs were dropped by their owners onto a mattress, the impression of flight was enlarged by wind machines.” The results are perhaps some of the most hilariously adorable dog images the internet has ever seen. "The expression on their faces mostly reflects the surprise of the first flight,” Christie explains. “In most cases, the first jump provided the best pictures."
And of course, no dogs were harmed in the making of these images. As a matter of fact, “some of the dogs had a lot of fun,” Julia enthuses. “We were able to repeat the jumps.”

Promoting someone taking advantage of an animal's trust in their human companions and not having the ability to say "this is frightening" is a really good way to lose credibility. "Some of the dogs had a lot of fun" tells me a lot of them found the experience less than pleasant if not scary.
Thank you Alex.
The dogs are fine, also understand that dogs this good looking (well groomed) likely receive better treatment than you give yourself... It isn't like they're dropping them, they're just doing half of a jump into the air. You asking a dog to come to you and sit is using their trust in exactly the same way. I suppose you also think dog shows are abusive too?
I agree with you Alex.
