Perhaps my favorite tool at the moment is the new masking panel in Lightroom. It is a remarkable step up from the old masking panel, so much so that it has improved the quality of many of my images. There are many shots that I would like to perform certain edits to but do not, simply because the edits would be too time-consuming given how many photos I need to get out from that batch. However, the new panel allows me to quickly and easily dial in masks that would be too tedious to be worth the time before, allowing me to make edits that notably improve the final images.
