Take a Tour of the Glidecam Headquarters and Factory

Its always interesting to see just how and where the equipment we buy and use gets made. Especially so when its a successfully self-started company located right here in the US, like Glidecam.

Successful videographer and film maker Devin Graham, inspiration and adviser for the Devin Graham Signature Edition Glidecam goes on a tour of Glidecam's entire facility showing us just what it takes to make and ship all their products in house. You get to see everything from the partnered machine shop next door to the product photography studio, warehouse, and shipping assembly. It really is an interesting setup they have considering just how large the brand has become. The most interesting thing for me is that it's located just 15mins away from where I grew up and just a short drive outside the city of Boston, MA where I currently reside. All this time it was just right there and I never knew.

The founder and CEO of Glidecam even pulls out the originally designed mock-up Glidecam to show it off. Made completely out of wood it's impressive to see how everything Glidecam is today came from this one simply made device.

Check out Graham's Film channel for some of the viral videos he and his team have made using mostly Glidecams over the years.

Great to see good manufacturing still being done in the US
