ShootProof, provider of online gallery and sales tools, has announced the acquisition of Táve. Táve offers photographers business management tools, helping photographers more easily run their business.
ShootProof’s platform allows photographers to share and sell their photos commission-free in customizable galleries and apps and deliver a better client experience with digital downloads, proofing, printing, and more. Existing pricing is simple, with a free tier for up to 100 photos and flat tiers beyond that. For commerce operations, ShootProof doesn’t take any commission, providing fulfillment through their suggested labs or the photographer’s choice. Lastly, branding is preserved, with support for custom watermarks, logos, and brand colors.
Beyond the galleries, ShootProof has a music catalog of 14,000 songs to back photographer’s slideshows. Built in email marketing and invoicing tools also help photographers stay in touch with clients.
Táve’s existing cloud-based studio management tool enables workflow automation, helping photographers handle pitches, booking, invoicing, contracts, and more. For many photographers, the nitty-gritty of actually running their business is the least enjoyable part, while any tool that can help them manage studio operations is welcome.
With this acquisition, ShootProof now offers an even more comprehensive product for photographers. From an initial booking, through invoicing and delivery via a ShootProof gallery, photographers can rely on one tool.
