How Do You Find Photography Clients?

It takes a lot of work and a wide range of skills to be able to run a successful photography business. Of course, one of the most important aspects is being able to find clients who want to work with you. This excellent video essay discusses just how to go about finding clients.

Coming to you from Daniel Norton Photographer, this great video essay discusses the practice of finding photography clients. This can be one of the trickiest parts of running a photography business, as it is not like a traditional brick and mortar store, where you have a physical location in which people can come to visit you or just wander in, and no matter how good your skills are, you simply can't afford to wait for people to happen upon your Instagram or your website. When it comes to things like photography, people will often simply hire the first available photographer in the price range they are looking for who looks reasonable enough and is in the right location. As such, half the battle is simply getting yourself in front of potential clients in a convincing manner. Check out the video above for the full rundown from Norton.
