Photographer of the Month Awards for 2018

Beginning in January, we'll be selecting a photographer of the month. Each month, we'll cull the best of the most recent photos in the community and select our favorite, featuring that photographer's work. At the end of the year, we'll select an overall winner from the 12 monthly winners, who will win a tutorial of their choice from the Fstoppers store. To qualify each month, you simply must have uploaded an image to your portfolio in the past 30 days. So, get out there, post some photos, and check out the work of the talented Fstoppers community! We're pleased to have you here.

"Making Real Money: The Business of Commercial Photography" tutorial. I'm a real need of developing the business side of my photography or "Fashion and Editorial Portrait Photography" because of detail workflow.

All are well deserving candidates. Clay Cook Fashion/Editorial would be my choice. Thank you.

Clay Cook's Fashion and Editorial Portrait Photography please, I'm learning fashion photography and try to improve myself

I would like to win Making Real Money: The Business of Commercial Photography. It's a subject that I've neglected for far too long, and is the glaring fault in my current photography business.

I would like to win Mike Kelley ‘Where Art Meets Architecture 3’ because the BTS made me laugh a lot. But seriously, I love Mike’s work and would love to learn more about his approach on a commercial level too.

Would love either photographing the world 2 or 3, those are incredibly detailed and inspirational!

"Making Real Money: The Business of Commercial Photography" Please and thank you !

My vote goes to Michael Shainblum. He is one of the best of landscape photograhers.

It's hard to choose just one as your courses are pretty good. But I'd have to go with Peter Hurley: Perfecting the Headshot

I would love the "perfecting the headshot" tutorial.

Elia Locardi's Photographing the World 3 would be my choice, thank you!

Voted for F. Gomez for his consistency and very good portfolio :)

Making Real Money: The Business of Commercial Photography -- Please and thanks...

I'd love to get "Perfecting the headshot" by Peter Hurley as I am planing to get deeper into portrait and headshot photography during this year.

I'd love to win the Elia Locardi Photographing the World 3 tutorial!

I would like the win Making Real Money: The Business of Commercial Photography . Thanks for the contest! Cheers.

I would love to win Peter Hurley’s Illuminating the Face! As a photography student at DSC money is tight, but when I’ve watched his YouTube videos it’s amazing to see how much he understands facial structure and his ability to convey posing and lighting ideas in an applicable way. Yesterday was the first time I worked with a paid client for headshots and it would not have been near as successful without having watched his demonstrations. A full tutorial would be an awesome opportunity to build on this success and further refine my portraiture skills!

I'd love to win the Photographing the World 3 tutorial. I'd rather win this than a new lens, because in my opinion no gear can beat knowledge. Especially when it comes from one of the best landscape photographers out there!

My choice would be Peter Hurley, "Perfecting the Headshot". I always loved headshots but the only technique that really worked for me to get natural and relaxed looking people was observing them during parties or so with an extremely long lens, waiting for the right moment. When I found Peters tutorials I knew this is the way for me. I recently studied all his materials I found in the web and started to shoot some sessions with my new knowledge. The results are more then promising and make me really happy. Now I would love to go on and learn more. It would give my career a real kick.

Photographing the World 1 by Elia Locardi. Landscape photography is my passion and love.

Had to go with David! Id love to win the Making Real Money tutorial.

I'd love to have the "Making real money" tutorial cause I kinda suck at that and surely need some help from the pros!

I would like "Photographing the World 1" as I admire Elia's work and I have access to some of the NZ locations in the tutorial and would like to improve my own landscape photography skills.

I would like to win the Joel Grimes tutorial. As I embark on my professional career, the lessons provided would help me tremendously. The business side of Photography is not always talked about. It tends to be the most important part of the secret sauce that makes somebody successful.

Clay Cook Fashion and Editorial Photograph because his photography is life!

I would like to win How To Become A Professional Commercial Wedding Photographer.

I would like to win Photographing the World 3 with Elia Locardi.

Making Real Money: The Business of Commercial Photography. I need this obviously or I would just buy it instead of entering a competition :)

I have been working nonstop to improve and develop my wedding photography business. I've assisted many weddings, shot my own, and read every book I could find. I would love to win the tutorial on commercial wedding photography.

How To Become A Professional Commercial Wedding Photographer DVD - I would love to learn more about wedding photography

So nervous.

Joey Wright on Swimwear photography please.
