This Drone Uses DJI Cameras and Can Film Underwater

I got the new DJI Phantom 4 Pro 10 days ago. I just flew it for the first time yesterday. Know why? Because Cleveland is a nonstop fountain of bad weather. I need this new waterproof drone in my life.

My eternal problem is that I enjoy photographing bad weather, as I think it makes for interesting skies, but drones aren't made to fly in bad weather. The HexH2) Pro V2 from QuadH2O changes that, allowing users to film not only in bad weather, but below water as well. Check out the buoyancy aids (the black cylinders) attached to the drone that help to stabilize it in water.

The drone uses DJI's excellent X3 camera with stabilized gimbal and the DJI Go app, so most users should feel right at home on it. It also features 30 minutes of flight time and the ability to fly in the rain and snow and to land on water. While it's geared toward industrial and academic applications, it could be a very interesting choice for filmmakers who frequently work in poor weather or want to expand their shot arsenal. The HexH2O Pro V2 will be available on March 31 for $6,449. More information can be found here

I hear you on the weather! Wisconsin weather is the same--I waited almost two weeks before I took my drones maiden flight! Being a sucker for Lake Michigan sunrises though...I will be watching this!
