10 Helpful Tips for Taking Better Photos

Are you feeling a bit stuck lately and wondering how you can improve your images? Check out this fantastic video tutorial that will give you 10 helpful tips for improving your work.

Coming to you from Mango Street, this excellent video tutorial discusses 10 great tips for improving your photos. One of the best things I ever did for my photos was to simply recognize my habits or tendencies I relied on too much and to force myself out of my comfort zone both to expand my technical aptitude and my creative palette. We all have certain tendencies; one extremely common one is using a wide aperture to create a shallow depth of field to isolate our subjects. Taking time to practice shooting in a different style (in this case, with a narrow aperture) can do wonders for your work. Even if you do not end up incorporating the new method into your style, it will make you more confident in your technique and creative decisions. Check out the video above for a lot of helpful tips.
