Coming to you from Denae and Andrew, this excellent video will show you 11 different ways you can use your photography to make a difference. Personally, one of the biggest ways I have seen photography make a difference is with pet adoption agencies. These agencies are often running on shoestring budgets and have overworked staff, and they may not have anyone trained as a photographer or even have the equipment necessary for professional shots. That said, a simple professional portrait can make a massive difference in the adoptability of a pet and just might be what brings the person that brings them home to the agency in the first place. It doesn't take a lot of work either; just a quick and simple outdoor portrait can make all the difference. Check out the video above to see all the ways you can put your skills to use.
That was interesting.
Not much comments, you should have titled something like "DSLR is dead" or "How to make millions on followers by leaving instagram"
Being philanthropic is always a good thing. I've done it by donating prints to charity auctions. However, I'm going to pick a nit, not about the subject per se, but how it's worded because words mean things. 'Giving back' implies that something has been taken and you're giving it back. The proper term is 'Giving'....period. Okay, now you can yell at me. :-)
