It takes the mastery of a lot of different skills and techniques to produce a proficient landscape photograph, and it can take a long time to get them all down. This excellent video will help you get there faster, however, with seven great tips to improve your landscape photography.
Coming to you from Nigel Danson, this helpful video will give you seven awesome tips for improving your landscape photography. Of them, the two that have made the biggest difference in my own work have been learning to simplify my compositions and not being afraid to experiment. We tend to think of composition in an additive manner, continually including more and more in the frame to balance different elements, but often, it is better to reduce the frame to just the essentials. This will allow your viewer to more easily find the subject, and it will make it stand out more strongly within the frame. And of course, being willing to experiment will help you find your personal style and stand out from the crowd. Check out the video above for the full rundown from Danson.
