A Complete Workflow for Creating Better Landscape Photography Compositions

Composition is one of the trickiest and most nuanced aspects of landscape photography, but a good composition can make or break an image. If that is something you struggle with, this fantastic video offers a complete compositional workflow for better landscape images.

Coming to you from Mark Denney, this awesome video offers a compositional workflow for landscape photography. While all the steps are certainly important, I think the one that we often mess up most easily is forgetting to remove all distractions. In particular with landscape photography, where you are often staring at the same scene and composition for a long time, it can be easy to get tunnel vision and focus so strongly on your subject that you miss distractions in the frame that can end up being a problem when you get into the post-processing phase. Be sure to take a second to make sure you are not hyperfocused on any single element of the frame. Check out the video above for the full rundown from Denney.
