Weddings are a quickfire succession of critical moments, and any hole in your preparation can turn into a huge problem on the big day, especially when you don't get a second chance for many important shots. Having a list of required items and tasks that you use every time can go a long way to ensuring both that you're prepared and that you don't miss any of the most important shots. As Marcus mentions, backups are absolutely crucial. This starts with having two memory cards in your camera, but you should be backing up elsewhere as soon as possible as well.
