Out of Ideas? Here's Why You're Having Trouble Being Creative

Unfortunately, creativity is something that can be fleeting: you're on a hot streak, producing quality work, and then, seemingly out of nowhere, the spark vanishes. This great video talks about why that happens and what we can do to get the creative juices flowing again.

Coming to you from Sean Tucker, this highly insightful video talks about the creative space and how we need to pay careful attention to it if we want to succeed. I think he's really touching on something important here, particularly in our modern society, where we're constantly bombarded with more stimuli than ever and we expect things to develop and come to fruition at a breakneck pace. These characteristics of modern life are often at direct odds with the creative process, which usually demands singular devotion and time to develop. As Tucker mentions, it's important to treat the generation of ideas less like an expectation and more like a fragile space that needs to be nurtured. Taking the time to simply check in with yourself every once in a while and take advantage of increasingly rarer spots of downtime can make a huge difference in your ability to consistently produce high-level creative results.

great

Yes, completely agree with you. At the moment, I also have a problem with creativity. I'll explain now. I am a student at the faculty of Journalism, and recently I broke up with a girl and I was covered by a wave of negativity, emptiness and etc. Although I love to write, I must do it. But could not begin a word. Turned to http://payforessays.blogspot.com and they helped me with this. I hope that this bad streak will pass and I will keep doing my favorite things in the same way.
