My personal favorite is the ability to save presets for a lot of the adjustment layers. For example, my portrait workflow is essentially the same for most every image I work on, and I have two or three color toning looks I usually use depending on my subject and the overall mood I'm going for. Rather than painstakingly recreate the look every time with a bunch of Curves and Selective Color layers, I simply load the preset I need, make any minor tweaks I need to to optimize the current image, and I'm off to the next step. It's a huge time-saver and it goes a long way in ensuring a bit more consistency in your portfolio. Give the video above a watch for 19 more great tricks!Â
