Twenty Helpful Tips and Tricks for Photoshop

Photoshop is a tremendously intricate and nuanced program, and you can never have enough tips and tricks to navigate all its features and options and make your workflow both more powerful and more efficient. This helpful video will show you 20 more tips and tricks you might not have seen before.

Coming to you from Nathaniel Dodson of tutvid, this awesome video will show you 20 tips and tricks for Photoshop that even seasoned pros might not know about. My personal favorite is the ability to save presets for a lot of the adjustment layers. For example, my portrait workflow is essentially the same for most every image I work on, and I have two or three color toning looks I usually use depending on my subject and the overall mood I'm going for. Rather than painstakingly recreate the look every time with a bunch of Curves and Selective Color layers, I simply load the preset I need, make any minor tweaks I need to to optimize the current image, and I'm off to the next step. It's a huge time-saver and it goes a long way in ensuring a bit more consistency in your portfolio. Give the video above a watch for 19 more great tricks!
