Want to Improve Your Work? Stop Taking Photos (Temporarily)

Are you having trouble creating interesting photos or feeling inspired lately? If you're feeling like you're in a creative rut, sometimes, the best thing to do is to stop taking photos altogether.

Coming to you from Hk Visuals, this helpful video discusses the importance of stepping away from the creative process for a bit when you're feeling stuck. It's common to try to power through such creative blocks, and while it's crucial to have a bag of tricks you can fall back on when you're not feeling inspired (particularly if you're running a business and have clients with expectations), when it comes to creating new work or innovative ideas, often, trying to force the creative process just makes it all the more difficult. I've found that even if I'm on a deadline, if I step away for a day or two, I end up coming back with a much clearer headspace and am far more able to accomplish what I need to, even though I might now be on a tighter timeline. If you find yourself a bit stuck and frustrated, it might do you some good to simply step away for a day or two and take a break. Check out the video above for more.
