Coming to you from James Popsys, this excellent video shares a ton of his favorite tips for improving your photography. Personally, one of the best things I have done for my images has been to actively work to simplify my compositions. For the first few years I was serious about photography, I approached compositions by asking what I could add to the frame, which often led to my images being overly complicated and cluttered. I eventually flipped the question by starting to ask what was essential to the frame and learning to leave out anything that was not. This led to cleaner, stronger images that were more impactful for the viewer. Check out the video above for lots of helpful tips from Popsys.
