Abiqua Falls in Oregon is a rather hidden gem that I've photographed more than a few times. On this photo, the beauty of the falls was complemented with some sunrays coming through the mist to illuminate a fallen tree.

Congratulations to the winners!
Lots of good elements here but misses the mark for me in composition. Both subjects, the light rays and waterfall, lead my eye away and out of the photo.
I wanted a different point of view of these falls. Most of the photos of it are directly from the front or from the right side of it and I love the fact that the eye wanders around the image.
Thanks for commenting!
I like it, great shot. Love the light coming in.
Thank you! I couldn't believe how lucky I was that day when the light came in as I was walking around that area.
Considering that you know the area, how would you've composed this shot considering the light and the falls?
I see what you are saying. It was actually partly cloudy, hence the sunrays breaking through and as I mentioned in another comment here, these falls are always photographed dead center.
Thank you though!
Wow beauty
