Of all the images I had planned for my trip to Iceland it was this improvised shot of the aurora forming into the shape of the foreground tree that emerged my favourite. This shot only happened as we had to pull over so I could relieve myself (funny enough on this tree) and whilst I was likely urinating all over my own shoes as I was mesmerised by the aurora ebbing and flowing, I had to finish up quickly and grab my camera when I saw the symmetry forming.

Stunning! Really great composition. Looks like the tree is burning. Gave it a 5 Star :)
The composition is almost perfect, I think, with the aurora like "burning" from the tree. Only thing that bothers me is that the tree has been cut on the right.
