Blacks are blown out, and maybe explore different concepts for different photos like a different pose...
It's the result I wanted to convey. I wanted the focus to be on the face, not the jacket. Never heard of Blacks being blown out.
I love the pose, mood and coloring. I think that a slightly more dramatic lighting setup could add to the vibe, and it looks like the ear is in sharp focus rather than the eye.
