This bride and groom play in a Chicago softball league together and wanted to incorporate softball into their wedding photography. We took a variety of portraits using bats and gloves but what I really wanted was a solid action shot. In this image the bride is clearly batting, the groom is playing catcher, the maid-of-honor is holding the bride's dress, and the best-man is pitching. The rest of the bridal party is scattered in the background. Once I got my framing I think we went through two sequences of pitches and I got this image of the bride making contact. One of my favorite images.
