Bright, sunny, mid-day shoot. Found a little open shade under the trees and liked tying the yellow flowers in the foreground to the sunflower in the bouquet.

I understand the concept and I think that it would work if you were not so close to the ground. The expression on the bride's face makes me think that she's actually scared by this man coming up behind her. The background it has blown out, but that might have been your intention. Overall not a terrible image but it needs a lot of work to become something special.
thanks - those are all very good points. It was intentional to blow the background out and I was going for some foreground layering with the out of focus flowers.
