I wandered down towards a creek during my morning walk and watched for several minutes as the sunlight kept getting cut beautifully by the edge of the bridge above. I found myself with this mirrored image when I finished editing.

This is a reflection, not repetition.
That’s just, like, your opinion, man.
Yes, the original image is technically a reflection, but one could argue that’s repetitive in its own way. In this case, though, the original photo was ‘repeated’ and then the two were put together to make a new image.
Reflection is repetition.
