I think in trying to bring up the shadows of the subject, it ends up bringing up too much details of hte building, making it a bit distracting.
I wonder what it would look like if the subject remains a silouette; or split them from the background and crush the skyline.
Thanks for the insight---havent looked at it from that angle...will give it a try
