This would be a much stronger image with the people on the right cropped out. Two of those three people are looking into the camera which is distracting from the passive passed out couple.
But this shows the ignorance of people. The passersers are deliberately looking in another direction.
I think if two of the people weren't looking at you I'd agree with that. We can tell your presence altered the scene.
