I love Kawaguchiko. I go there every winter.
I can see what you were going with the branches on the side, I've use a similar composition, but I feel like the lens is a little too wide which is making Fuji look small, even with the person for scale. Perhaps if they were standing a little further from the camera, the effect would have been a little stronger.
