Park Point?
It's Michigan dunes state park (on Lake Michigan). I thought the beach/snow combination was compelling.
I like the idea of mixing sand with snow in an image, but the majority of the image is out of focus. I think know what you were going for, but I don't quite think there is enough interest in the area of focus, so my eyes just keep going back to the out of focus foreground.
