Antyesti, or last sacrifice, are the ritual funeral rights in Hindu tradition. Here, a laborer carries wood to be used in a cremation at Pashupatinath Temple in Kathmandu, Nepal on the banks of the sacred Bagmati River.

I love this shot.
Thanks so much Srikanth! There are some things I love about it too--particularly the juxtaposition of the men sitting around while the subject does all the heavy lifting. There are also things that I wish were different--I don't like that the subject's foot is obscured by the man's head in the middle foreground. Frankly, I could do without any of the 3 people in the foreground, but I guess that's just the way it is with candid shots like this. Thanks again, I'm glad you like it!
