I think I see what you were trying to do, but there's just way too much going on in this image and the post processing doesn't really draw the eyes toward the house. A tighter shot with just a hint of the near bank and less sky would probably have been better.

As for the post processing, keep in mind that eyes are naturally drawn to bright spots in the image so if you're going to keep the composition as it is, it would probably be a good idea to darken the land on the bottom right to push attention away from it.
