A cozy ski chalet in the Swiss resort of Verbier - a shot from my first paid shoot, just a couple of months ago - any feedback most welcome! Please note the Vertical beams are at funky angles in the chalet - this is not a lack of correcting the verticals ;-)

Congratulations to the winners!
I love it.
Thanks so much Michael
Super cool! The only thing that bothers me a little is the curvature of the carpet in the foreground.
Yep, danm, meant to edit that before submitting to this but forgot - didnt know how to correct barrel distortion when I first edited and delivered this shot! Thanks for the kind words!
wouldn't mind staying here .. great shot
Thank you very much Damian! really appreciate the positive comment :-)
A more contrasty lighting would be ideal to fit the rustic vibe in my opinion.
Great shot. If this was done in my neighborhood (South Florida) I would say its to cool and the light is too soft. Since we can see the snowy mountain and the skis, I think it works perfectly and looks natural. The feel fits the subject.
I feel the space is just as your described, warm and cozy! The lighting is beautiful, I can see the view out of the window, and I can imagine myself in the space, which I feel is really important for realtors that potential buyers have that type of reaction. I was conflicted about the ski's at first, my initial reaction was they should have been removed, but I realize they tell the story as well, so I am not sure. My eye constantly gets drawn to them for some reason.
