This image was created as part of a noir-style photoshoot in my small home studio. The idea was to create a dark and moody atmosphere with some attitude to go with it. The smoke was added later in Photoshop by using separate images of burning incense. The lighting was fairly simple and included the use of a circular home-made snoot for the background. This is stunning, Jason. I really like it. If forced to offer some suggestion, I'd like to compare to a version with just a tiny bit more light in her eyes and a visible catch-light. But it's far superior to anything I've produced, so take that with a grain of salt. :)
