There are a lot of stone quarries on island Brač, Croatia. Stone blocks that are not the prime quality are deposited around the quarries until sold. During the night these structures have some monumental quality and remind of the ancient stone walls in Cusco, Peru. We light painted the stones and the light pollution in the sky from nearby town Split gives the scene some moody, apocalyptical quality.
