This is one of the first image I spent some considerable time thinking about the composition. Although it's not perfect, it's an image I really appreciate.

Image is very well composed. The leading line of the orange bushes up to the lighthouse is very well utilized. Focus appears to be good front to back. I think lighthouse being centered left to right was a good choice. The sky is the problem. You take this same composition and have good color in the sky or a dark and moody sky then this image becomes a 3 or higher. With the sky the way it is i would suggest cropping in to put the light house on the top third and make the foreground more of the story. Im not sure why this is sub 2 currently because the composition is obviously thought out and while this may not be moody per say it is close to moody. Keep up the good work.
