I think the tones work well with the mood here. For me, I wonder if a little different composition would work better, such as the coffee off to 1/3 left or right or maybe not cut in the middle by the lake line?
Yeah that would work, however I really like symmetry and that is why I always put the coffee in the middle.
I like the idea but the plastic coffee cup and the 'primus' writing pull me out of the photo. This deserves better props like a steaming, ceramic coffee mug and a 'rusty' primus stove.
