Since the subject is wearing a black shirt they get lost in the background and give the appearance of floating hands and head. I would like to see either a back light to create some separation around the model, a light on the background or a different color shirt.
I see what you are saying! The background was actually much brighter and I darkened it because it has to much structure and took away the focus from the person. Thank you for your comment!
I agree with Marcus' comment. Some separation between his outfit and the background would help. Some styling could take this to the next level.
