Submit Your Most Unique Photo

I like the concept of this shot but there are a dew things that don't work for me about it. The pupil being solid black doesn't really work. It looks artificial. leaving some of the original shot there, or at least making the circle transparent would feel better. The circular crop with this kind of lighting makes the whole image feel like it's leaning to the top-right.

But most importantly, if the image it to completely rely on the cornea's details it should be in crisp focus. Otherwise it looses interest quickly. Hi res tack focus would make this very interesting to look at.
