This is not a composite! :-)
Now, that is out of the way; this is an image at our national park; the escalator takes you down into the hills as there is a musical performed there during the summer. So many people think that it's a composite or a big image on the wall in front of an escalator, but it's not.

Very cool, Would have given 4 starts if it the picture was taken centrally.
My first thought was "Not a fan of composites, but this one is worth it." Then read your description - and I love even more. One of the best this week, IMO. Congrats!
Feels over processed and the alignment is off. The location has a lot of promise (color, DoF, wider lens).
