This image is one of a series that I made with a title of "The Fragrance of Love". The series was inspired by the black paintings of Francisco Goya on display at the Prado art museum in Madrid. Goya's paintings exhibit a raw and powerful emotion, the emotion of pain. With my own work i wanted to explore ideas around how love that is too intense can also create pain.
