Maelstrom - I haven't quite gotten to where I want to be with the macro boiling water shoots yet, going to keep trying though, I like how this one turned out, I see a space beast emerging from the background. You get some cool shapes, but annoyingly often they are just out of your DoF.

I really like this concept! So much potential here. I think this is a case of spray and pray to get the perfect image. It might take hundreds of shots but eventually you will get that one that is right on the money!
Thanks Danial, I got the idea from Micael Widell, absolutely it is spray and pray, I have had two sessions and learnt a lot. Just got to watch out for the electricity bill with all of the boiling of the kettle!
