This was an impromptu shot during a local dance school shoot, it wasn't set up. Never one to shy away from the camera, this little ballerina takes advantage of some downtime between groups for a little solo camera time. This was shot with alien bees & umbrellas left and right, 24-70mm @28mm, 1/200 sec, f8, on a D750. I treated the image by extending the backdrop with the clone tool in photoshop elements 9, and desaturated the backdrop, only leaving the dancer in full color.
