I was doing some woodland photography during a period of really bad light and decided to do some macros of the underside of this huge mushroom. I just wanted to do an abstract of the mushroom gills with an LED flashlight laying on top of the mushroom for illumination. The camera (Sony A6000 with macro rings and the kit lens) was on a tiny Manfrotto tripod angled upwards. To my surprise I caught this tiny springtail in the frame. I rarely shoot macros and definitely not super macros so I was quite surprised to see the little guy in my frame. I consider this backlit because the light source was behind the subject. Thanks for checking it out and all your great YouTube videos!
